SOC FNL Cheer Coordinators:
Lauren Glover & Nikka Charlow
Lauren started dancing at the age of 3….. Ballet, Jazz, tap, musical theatre, she did it all. She decided to try cheerleading in middle school and enjoyed it so much, she cheered all the way to her senior year in high school. Now with her own daughter, she continued to be involved with cheerleading. Lauren was very active with Pop Warner Cheer and now, with her daughter being the captain of her cheer team at Trabuco Hills High School, she became a board member of the pep squad booster. Cheerleading has a permanent place in her heart.
Nikka has an extensive cheer background… from the age of 5 through high school. Out of high school, she coached Pop Warner in San Diego for a few years. She has ran training camps for incoming freshmen and high schoolers that had little to no cheer experience to help prepare them for high school try outs; from sharp motions, memorization of cheers and dances to their cleanness of jumps, but mainly to coach them on confidence, accountability, attitude and leadership skills.
Both Lauren and Nikka can’t wait to grow the South OC FNL cheer program and bring MORE spirit to the Friday Night Lights games!!
